His legacy
Lastly, Here's Joey
Although Joey married late in life (he was 46) he soon filled the role of husband, step-father as he liked to be called when he referred to one of my sons. It's only a joke. He became a loving grandfather too. He used to let his grandson Robby and then later on his  granddaughter sit on his lap in the car and drive around our development. Everyone would wave that  was outside and both Joey and  Robby and Suzy loved it. Joey had the capacity to not only make others laugh (which he did well), he shared his love with me and my children and our grandchildren unconditionally. No, he wasn't a famous man, you won't read about him in the newspaper or a book but he was just the most loving, thoughtful, funny, kind man that touched my life more than anyone could ever imagine. He taught me to love again and to have faith. There's a bright star in the sky and you can see it at night and  I know that it's Joey watching over those he loved. You my love, will always be my brightest star! I love you so very much!
